Core Competencies
Quantas MS solutions implements unique powerful multi-component methods for the analysis of multiple biological matrices for the modern clinical laboratory. Our proprietary methodologies for LCSM-MS and LC-TOF-MS allows for accurate powerful techniques that can quickly be adopted into your clinical environment, no matter the LCMS vendor you currently employ in your laboratory.
Our unique kit approach allows for fast method transfer and training of your clinical technologists, enabling a comprehensive testing panel for urine, oral fluids and meconium.
Testing Capabilities

Blood/Serum Assays
Methods can be customised to your specific needs whether they are endogenous compounds, therapeutics to drugs of abuse. Providing a full LCMS-MS protocol for blood, serum/plasma sample preparation, chromatographic separation and full mass spectrometric settings to address your assay needs.

Urine Toxicology
The urine toxicological method provided by Quantas MS is a rapid precise protocol, capable of being used in a screening or confirmatory function allowing for both qualitative and quantitative analysis of any urinary sample.
Analyte identification and analysis can be done either by LC-TOF-MS (liquid chromatography-Time of Flight Mass Spectrometry) OR LC-MS-MS (liquid chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry).
This method addresses a complete analytical panel (see below), encompassing pain management, worksite and drugs of abuse for full screening and quantitation by urine hydrolysis, fully functional on your LCMS system of choice, our expert scientists can implement our methods on multiple manufacturers’ instruments.
NOTE: This method works in conjunction with both the oral fluid and meconium protocols for LCMS-MS

Oral Fluid analysis
Incorporating an industry unique, no sample preparation protocol; the Quantas MS oral fluid method provides advanced automated sample pre-treatment without labor intensive solid phase extraction (SPE) or dilute and shoot methodologies. This method allows your laboratory to incorporate industry leading analytical technologies to provide oral fluid analysis with SAHMSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) compliant level cut-offs for complete analysis for pain management, drug rehabilitation, worksite, DOT screening and confirmatory protocols using LC-TOF or LC-MS-MS.
NOTE: This method works in conjunction with both urinary and meconium protocols for LCMS-MS

Meconium Analysis
Meconium testing has become an integral test in the clinical environment, the Quantas MS method is used in close conjunction with our urinary testing protocol; providing accurate low-level detection of benzodiazepines, opioids, amphetamines, cannabinoids and other drugs of abuse potentially present in a meconium sample.
This test utilizes specific protocols for sample preparation and treatment that allows for full analysis and confirmatory validation.
NOTE: This method works in conjunction with both the urinary and oral fluid protocols for LCMS-MS
